I would like to say I have good sized collection of your models and a big fan of your model choices, there is a lot speculation that there may be or if enough interest in the build of the famous Ferrari 250 GTO, please consider this as I feel there will be a big interest in this particular vehicle. I can't wait for the new Ferrari California 250 to be released for the general release. Keep me informed on the release date as I am waiting to add it to my ever increasing CMC collection. Keep up the good work your models I feel are amazing and highly collectable.

Hello

I have a model of the brand CMC purchased in the Netherlands, it's going to be the W196R Streamliner 1954/1955 with the number 18. (model 0-49) with the serial number 1456/5000.

When I open the packaging I saw that there were a mirror failed.

Do you have a mirror for this car?

And what will it cost to the mirror at my home?

I am very sorry and hope you can help me with this problem.

I have a lot of money paid for this model, and am also a big fan of the cmc models.

The models are gorgeous!!

Again, I hope that you can help me with this problem?

And I look forward to hearing from you

I will still send some pictures of the car and the mirror that is missing

You may also have had an email from the seller where I've bought the model.

Greetings nicky

I just received the Mercedes 300 SLR Uhlenhaut coupe limited edition model ( M-088) and I'm very impressed. It's a beautiful model and a fantastic addition to my collection. I do, however, have to add some constructive criticism. The muffler (baffle) on the passenger side fell off when I went to pick it up and I wasn't even touching it. Apparently the only thing holding it on is glue. This is dissapionting considering the fine job done constructing the rest of the car. This piece should have been attached with a screw. Pieces should not be falling off of any of these models. Also, when trying to unscrew the bolt holding the spare wheel in the trunk (using the tool provided), the bolt snapped. Again, not the worst thing to happen but it shouldn't have happened. Things that are meant to be removed should do so with ease.
Aside from these things, the model is beautiful and I'm glad to have it and will never get tired of looking at it.

Just a few suggestions for future models:

1. Additional pre WWII Grand Prix and early Grand Prix cars from after WWII of English, French and Italian race cars such as the Vanwall, BRM, Bristol, Connaught, and Lancia.

2. Sports cars of the same era such as D Type Jaguar and Aston Martin.

3. In a similar vein to the Bugatti Atlantic, French Art Deco GT designs from the 30's and 50's such as Talbot Lagos.

I have a small (approx. 1:87scale) gold colored Vw on a nice wooden base. Has plate which reads VW Brezel-Kafer 1949. This is all in a red box approx. 4" x 4" x 1 1/2". Red Box has the following:
CMCGmbH
Mergenthaler Str.15
73760 Ostfildern
Germany

Can anyone shed any information on this cute vehicle? Value?, Material made of?, year of manufacture and who for?

Thank You in advance for any help you may be able to give me.

Hello,

I just received my CMC Mercedes 300 SLR Uhlenhaut coupe and wanted to tell you that it was well worth the wait, and thank you for doing this car. It is a work of art. Also, will you be making the MERCEDES 300 SL GULLWING? after all it was chosen as the car of 20th century... One last question, will you be making more 1/18 Silver McLaren Mercedes SLRs? Thank you

Not sure if my*piep*st last week made it concerning the Black Ferrari 250TR DM 124. The car as modeled is of the car as restored at auction. As raced it also had the number 124 on the nose at an angle between the fender and the center of the bonnet just above the red band. The error probably occured because of the use of a photo taken from the right rear where the nose was not visible. That photo was taken at Virginia International Raceway, not at Bridgehampton.I have seen a photo from the front that was taken at Bridgehampton and clearly shows the number on the nose. I hope a corrected version can be done.Other than this small change it is a stunning model.

I received the Mercedes Benz W196R as a gift. I think it is the most uninspiring car model I have ever seen. It shall remain MIB. Do you accept returns?

Many CMC models are overall simply wonderful. Obviously some of the finest models ever made. I do feel that there are two areas where they could improve.

One is the instruments. Many times the printing is out of focus, the instrument is cut out carelessly so that the printing is not centered, and the printed instrument is not always adhered correctly; in other words it's applied crookedly. The instruments are something I think many people examine, so they should be as good as*piep*ssible.

The other thing that bothers me is the seam lines on many details in the cockpit. The gear shift levers are a good example. Even the knobs can have these seam lines. Are these that difficult to remove?

What does CMC think about these two suggestions? Has CMC noticed this or am I looking too carefully?
