The replica of the 1957 Ferrari race car transporter is a true spectacle to see, especially when it is loaded with three CMC Ferrari models.

It incorporates an unbelievable number of details, including a mirror-like finish of the original two-tone red paintwork from the 1950s and the original decals.

The 1950s and 1960s are known as an era that witnessed a boom of race car transporters, which are being re-discovered today and held in a high regard. The two similar-looking transporters of the Scuderia Ferrari and Maserati might well be the most famous and technically most mature transporters of those days.

They were mounted on Fiat-bus chassis of the type 642 RN2. With an open body work designed by Bartoletti, the resultant transporter was good for hauling three race cars.

You are probably already aware of our blue-color Atlantic miniature (Item number M-083), which brings to life the original look of the car back in 1938. In other words, it represents the original condition of this car when the English businessman R. B. Pope came to be its first owner.

After the car changed hands several times, it was purchased by the American fashion designer Ralph Lauren (New York) in the late 1980s. The famous designer chose to restore the car completely while giving it a facelift. This led the car to be painted dark black with a matching black interior. The spoked wheels were also covered with attractive hub caps.

The Type 57 SC Atlantic was a masterpiece developed by Jean Bugatti, the only son of the great "patron" Ettore Bugatti. It was an extraordinary feat of automotive engineering at that time, both in design and construction. Only three examples were built; Powered by a 3.3 liter inline 8-cylinder engine, the Type 57 SC Atlantic was the fastest street car of its time. No other car was comparable to the elegance and perfection of this breath-taking two-seater.

The Atlantic combined beauty and function in its aerodynamic design. This starts with the end-to-end riveted dorsal seam that gives the car a unique character, and continues with the headlamps that are shaped in the appearance of "eyes." These are just two examples of the many distinctive traits that are exquisitely recreated in our model. Combined, the details are what give this model its great charisma and exceptional grace. It takes more than 1,700 single parts, mounted by the hand, to create this arduous piece of art on wheels.

Anniversary model 125 years Mercedes

 Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupe, 1955

All good things gone by two! As you might noticed, we slightly altered this well known and often used saying. But we just don`t want to leave our standard Uhlenhaut Coupe with red interior (item number M-076) for much longer all alone in its show case.

So what would be more obvious than making also the second Uhlenhaut Coupe? In this case the personal company car of Rudolf Uhlenhaut as a high-end model of the extra class. So finally the blue one will join his red brother.

And to make this release even more special, we devoted this model to the 125th anniversary of Mercedes that will take place in 2011. This model is worldwide limited to just 4,000 pieces and a more than worthy representative of this anniversary and the 125 year of automotive history.

A real highlight for the Auto Union racing team in 1939 was its great triumphs at the Grand Prix in France on July 9, 1939. H.P. Müller won a sensational victory in his Auto Union Type D with starting number 12 (Item No. M-089). It was the first GP championship in his career. His teammate Georg “Schorsch” Meier finished second with starting number 14, thus securing a dual victory for the trademark The Four Rings. CMC recreated both cars as limited editions, each with 1,500 pieces worldwide.

The Auto Union Type D newly defines modeling: more than 680 parts, each hand assembled, make it a collectors item par excellence. The paint of the body is of first class quality. It gives the car an excellent brilliance that is unpralleled in modeling.

Who doesn't know about the famous Uhlenhaut coupé with its landmark gullwing doors? Only two prototypes of this model were built, and it was and still is a formidable street car. The irony is that most people only had the chance to see it from behind. Back then, while the fastest BMW was capable of reaching 170 km/h, and the fastest Porsche, even up to 200 km/h, the Uhlenhaut coupé could speed at nearly 300 km/h. It surely caused a lot of amazement as well as jealousy.

If you want to see the original Uhlenhaut coupé, you have to visit the Daimler museum in Stuttgart, Germany. If you want to see it every day, however, just put our incomparably beautiful model on display in your cabinet.

May we introduce “Lucybelle” to you? That is the name by which the Testa Rossa with the chassis number 0732 first came to be known in its good old days. The owner Ed Hugus was an American, who decided to have the car painted in American racing white with double blue stripes. Admittedly, that appearance was unusual for a Ferrari.

But take a look for yourself: Isn’t it strikingly beautiful? This is why we build a high-end miniature replica after it, limited to 3,000 pieces worldwide.

2009 marks the 100th anniversary of Audi. This is reason enough for CMC to introduce a real classic miniature: the Audi Front 225 Roadster. First presented to the public in 1935, the car proved to be a real sensation for its time. Sporty and graceful, its body was a feast for the eyes. The aerodynamic line management enhanced the charming sporty look of its overall configuration in particular.

CMC offers this ravishingly beautiful hand-assembled miniature of more than 1,600 single parts in three different two-tone colour versions. Each colour combination brings out the glamour of this extraordinary model in a special way.

Handmounted all-metal precision model made of more than 1.100 single parts.
The quality and the level of details of that model is equal to its more than successful antecessor. The Ferrari 250 GT/SWB in its standard street version (item number M-046).

Ferrari has remained the most prestigious manufacturer of Gran Turismo motorcars to this day. From the mid-1950’s through the beginning of the 1960’s, the Ferrari 250 GT Berlinettas dominated the GT-class races around the world. The production of Berlinettas started with a long wheel base version, followed by a short wheel base version, which was introduced in 1959 and became a fixture until the 250 Series was eventually phased out of production.

The successful performance of the legendary Porsche 356, the Type 901 sports coupé, was first introduced to the public on the 12th of September in 1963 at the IAA in Frankfurt. One year later by October 1964, the 901 had already reached the stage of series-producton readiness and was debuted at the Parisian Auto show.

But still some 82 pieces of the serial production had left the Porsche plant with the type designation 901 (real collectors’ rarities). On the 27th of October in 1964, the first model with the type designation 911 was delivered.

A real Type 901 was the source for our 1:18 scale model
